About Maximillian Jiu Jitsu
Maximillian is headed by multiple-time national champion, Jason Maximillian Gregoriades. He and his brother Nicholas are two of the original pioneers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling in South Africa since the early 2000’s. Jason received all of his BJJ gradings up to brown belt from the legendary Roger Gracie himself in the U.K.. Upon returning to South Africa he received his black belt from his brother Nicholas (who incidentally is Roger Gracie’s very first black belt). Jason leads the academy with a straightforward and detail driven approach. The aim is to provide an enjoyable training platform where students can learn and develop. Students will receive simple coaching, honest feedback and support to help them grow.
